What Does "Low Vision" Mean?

Low vision refers to vision loss that can’t be corrected with standard glasses, contact lenses or surgery. However, it isn't considered blindness as limited eyesight remains. Symptoms typically include blind spots, poor night vision and blurred vision. Low vision is commonly caused by age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetes.

Fortunately, people with low vision can continue living full and meaningful lives with the help of low vision aids and devices.

Dr. Bui has something that too many other doctors don't have b/c apparently it's not taught in med s... chool; she has an amazing personality. She will also show you, without being technical or condescending, what your eyes are doing. I highly recommend her, and can't wait to see her in the coming months.

A new daily was suggested and is the best contact lens I’ve ever had. Biotrue Baush & Lomb Presbyo... pia multifocal daily. Superb vision and comfort. I’ve been wearing contacts lenses for 35 years or more. The technology is clearly much better with these lenses in my opinion. Every attending Dr was the best of the best. Issues with supporting staff - but to be expected anywhere in my opinion.

This is a storefront business so parking is free , accessible and close by. The staff is helpful and... agreeable. Dr Bui is very pleasant and knowledgeable. This is not merely an optometrist providing glasses, but they also treat eye infections, eyelash under the lid removal and basic assistance concerning eye conditions and diseases. Much less expensive than an ophthalmologist, however they don't perform surgery of course. They aren't md's.
